Three People Found Dead Inside Flower Mound Home After Welfare Check

FLOWER MOUND, Texas - Three people were found dead inside a Flower Mound home Wednesday morning after police were asked to conduct a welfare check when two residents failed to show up for work and relatives could not reach them.

Flower Mound police responded at approximately 10:43 a.m. Sept. 23 to a residence in the 10700 block of Sunrise Circle.

Police said two people who lived at the home had failed to report to work, prompting concern from family members who were also unable to contact them.

Based on information gathered at the scene and the circumstances surrounding the welfare check, officers entered the residence and discovered three people dead inside.

The Flower Mound Police Department said there is currently no indication of an active threat to the community.

The department's Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the deaths. Additional information is expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
