Young Man Shot at Weatherford TX Walmart Parking Lot

At around 11:00pm Friday night (Oct. 7), the Weatherford Police Department responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter, 1836 S. Main Street.

Officials say a 19-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported from the scene to a local hospital. As of this morning, his condition was reported as stable.

Officers say the suspect fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle. It is unknown if the suspect(s) has been arrested.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation at this time.
