Teen Dead and Two Others Wounded in Oak Cliff Shooting

On April 22, 2023, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3300 block of Emmett Street. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old male shot several times. The man was taken to a local hospital. Officers also found 18-year-old Brian Caballero shot and laying in a parking lot in the 1200 block of Shasta Avenue. Caballero died at the scene. Officers later learned a teen was also shot and was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, and the case will be referred to a Grand Jury.
