Man Dead in Oak Cliff Shooting on Mentor Ave

On Monday, July 24, 2023, a distressing shooting incident occurred in the 1500 block of Mentor Avenue in Dallas, prompting a swift response from the local authorities. At approximately 2:28 p.m., the Dallas Police Department received a shooting call and rushed to the scene. 

Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified man inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds. The victim was in critical condition, and despite immediate medical attention, he tragically succumbed to his injuries. The authorities confirmed the man's death on the scene.

This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 133464-2023.
