Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash Claims Life of 34-Year-Old Driver in University Park

In the early hours of September 16, University Park Police responded to a single-vehicle incident in the vicinity of the 3600 block of Northwest Parkway near the Thackery Street intersection.

Upon their arrival at the scene, University Park Police officers found that Dallas Police Department officers and a Dallas Fire Rescue team were already on-site, offering critical assistance to the sole occupant of the vehicle involved in the accident.

According to law enforcement officials, the vehicle collided with a tree situated in the middle area between Northwest Highway and Northwest Parkway. Notably, despite the apparent high speed at which the vehicle was traveling, no tire skid marks were observed.

Dallas Fire Rescue personnel transported the driver to a nearby hospital. Tragically, medical professionals declared her deceased. The deceased individual has been identified as a 34-year-old woman.
