At approximately 9:30 p.m., on October 21, 2023, Little Elm Police Officers responded to the call of a shooting in the 2700 block of Sunlight Drive.
Upon arrival, officers encountered a large party at the residence. They located two victims: one deceased male and one female with life-threatening injuries. The female victim was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition.
A third shooting victim was located two streets away on Evening Mist Drive.
Suspects are believed to have fled the area, and there is no threat to the public at this time.
Investigators are working with partygoers to identify the suspects in question.
