Woman Arrested in Connection with March 2023 Johnson County Sonic Shooting Death

Ashley Jasmin Marmolejo, also known as Ashley Gomez, was arrested today at the Guinn Justice Center in Cleburne. She is facing charges of Manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of Matthew Davis at the Sonic in Keene, Texas, which occurred on Saturday, May 13th, 2023. Marmolejo-Gomez was taken into custody and subsequently booked at the Johnson County Corrections Center.

On October 5, 2023, a 12-year-old boy was found guilty of the murder of Matthew Davis in this case. Marmolejo-Gomez is the aunt of the 12-year-old.
