On Tuesday, December 5, at approximately 8:15 am, Denton County sheriff's deputies responded to a call for an investigation near Copper Canyon Road and Old Alton Road.
Upon arrival, deputies found the lifeless body of a man beside a vehicle parked in an isolated gravel lot along the road. The deceased individual was identified as 42-year-old Alan Lee Wilson from Denton. The body was discovered in close proximity to a dark-colored Mitsubishi SUV.
The Medical Examiner's Office has taken charge of the case to determine the cause of Alan Lee Wilson's death.
