Yudi Mabel Paguada-Ruiz and Nicolle Martinez-Tome

The Irving Police Department executed two warrants on January 25, 2024, in connection to the ongoing investigation into the capital murder case against Hector Vicente Paguada Paguada (the name has been updated by Irving Police Investigator to match his birth certificate). The 35-year-old suspect remains at large, and authorities are urging the community to stay vigilant.

Nicolle Martinez Tome, 34, and Yudi Mabel Paguada-Ruiz, 30, were both apprehended and charged with "Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence" under the Texas Penal Code - PENAL § 37.09. These charges are linked to their alleged involvement in aiding Hector Paguada and tampering with evidence related to the double homicide at the Park Springs of Irving Apartments on Irving Blvd.

Tome's bond was set at $25,000, and she has since posted bail, being released from the Irving City Jail. On the other hand, Ruiz is currently in custody at the Dallas County Jail, with her bond set at $75,000.

The Irving Police Department is actively pursuing leads and seeking information from the public to locate Hector Paguada, also known as "Hector Matute." Community members are urged to report any sightings or information by calling 9-1-1 immediately. Authorities advise against attempting to contact or apprehend the suspect.

Investigators are asking for assistance in locating Paguada and encourage anyone with information related to the case to contact Investigator Herring at sherring@cityofirving.org or call 972-721-2604. The investigation is ongoing.
