Deputies Apprehend Suspect After Standoff in White Settlement

On February 22, 2024, around 2:25 p.m., Tarrant County Sheriff’s Deputies sought to serve a warrant in the 9200 Block of Jason Lane in White Settlement. The individual in question, 55-year-old Richard Pasillas, faced charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Continuous Violence Against a Family Member.

Upon approaching the residence, deputies encountered two adults and a juvenile exiting the premises. However, Pasillas refused to comply with orders to exit.

Subsequently, Pasillas barricaded himself inside the residence for over an hour. Deputies then entered the premises and apprehended Pasillas without further issue. He was later transported to the Tarrant County Jail.
