Fatal Shooting at Lake June Road Leaves One Dead, Dallas Police Investigating

Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident at Lake June Road and Masters Drive on March 8, 2024. The victim, identified as 31-year-old Erik Hurtado, was discovered shot at the scene. Hurtado was rushed to a nearby hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue but succumbed to his injuries.

The investigation into the shooting is currently underway and is recorded under case number 038697-2024.
