Early morning on May 18, 2024, Dallas Police swiftly responded to a distressing shooting call on York Street in South Dallas around 5:40 a.m. The officers arrived at the scene to find 23-year-old Curtis Dowell suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to a local hospital, Dowell succumbed to his injuries.
As the investigation unfolded, authorities identified a suspect in connection to the incident. Jamee Parsons, aged 31, has been named as the prime suspect, and an arrest warrant for Murder has been issued against him. However, Parsons remains at large.
