Brandon Paramore, 39, of Euless, was charged with murder today in connection with the death of Christine Barsanti, 79, on June 6.
On June 7, Bedford Police officers responded to a call regarding an unconscious person at 2400 Meadow View Lane in Bedford. Upon arrival, officers found Ms. Barsanti deceased inside her home, having been struck by an unknown object.
Surveillance footage from Ms. Barsanti’s home showed a man, identified later as Paramore, approaching her door and ringing the doorbell. After Ms. Barsanti refused his request to use her phone, the man forced his way inside.
Based on the footage and prior knowledge of Paramore, Bedford Officers identified him as a person of interest. He was located and kept under observation until his arrest on unrelated charges on June 8.
"Our thoughts are with Ms. Barsanti’s family, who have been supportive throughout our efforts to bring her justice,” said Deputy Chief Bobby LaPenna.
Paramore will be transferred to the Tarrant County Jail for arraignment, and bond will be set. The investigation remains active.
UPDATE - June 20, 2024: Mr. Paramore has been released from jail due to new developments in the case. Detectives identified a new suspect.
