Two Injured in Shooting at Abi Hookah Lounge in Richardson; White SUV Flees Scene

On July 5, 2024, at 4:40 a.m., the Richardson Police Department responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of Abi Hookah Lounge, located in the 800 block of W. Arapaho Rd. Officers discovered two individuals with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. An investigation revealed that the shooting followed a confrontation between two groups, including the injured parties. Witnesses reported seeing a newer model white SUV flee the scene. Detectives are working to identify five individuals from surveillance video believed to be involved in the incident. The suspect vehicle has been identified as a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport SE with a Technology Package.
