Body of Unknown Male Found with Apparent Gunshot Wound in Farmers Branch

Farmers Branch Police Detectives are actively investigating the death of an unknown male near the 13800 block of Welch Road. At approximately 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, the Farmers Branch Police Department received a 911 call reporting a possible body in the drainage area near the location.

Patrol officers responded and located a single male subject deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. The Farmers Branch Police Department is working to determine the victim’s identity and the circumstances surrounding the case.
