Man Fatally Shot in South Dallas Parking Lot, Found by Officer on Munger Avenue

On November 21, 2024, at approximately 9:40 p.m., a Dallas Police officer discovered a vehicle that appeared to have been in an accident in the 800 block of South Munger Avenue, just north of I-30.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the driver, identified as 41-year-old Tony Mosley, had been shot by an unknown suspect while in the vehicle. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Mosley to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation determined that the shooting occurred in a parking lot in the 5000 block of East Grand Avenue in South Dallas.

The case remains under investigation and is documented under case number 175872-2024.
