On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Euless Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a shooting at the Village Green of Bear Creek Apartments in the 1800 block of Fuller Wiser Road.
Officers arrived to find a 22-year-old man, Alexander Antonio Borras of Bedford, with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The death was ruled a homicide.
Following an investigation, Euless Police detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Reynaldo Marcos Silva, who was apprehended on December 16, 2024. Silva has been charged with one count of Capital Murder.
Silva also had open warrants from the Dallas County Sheriff's Office for Aggravated Robbery, Robbery, Evading Arrest Detention with a Vehicle, and Theft of Property valued between $30,000 and $150,000. He is currently being held at the Tarrant County Corrections Center.
The Euless Police Department expressed gratitude to K-9 teams from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and Search One Rescue Team, as well as the Irving Police Department, for their assistance in the investigation.
