Rodizio Grill Coming Soon to Irving-Las Colinas

Irving residents and restaurant owners, Ravi and Pinky Godhia, have announced their future opening of Rodizio Grill (Brazilian Steakhouse) at 5400 Green Park Drive. The steakhouse’s location is the new 7200 square foot ‘speculative’ retail development that sits adjacent to the Bennigan’s at 660 Walnut Ridge Drive, which the Godhia’s own and operate.

The Godhia’s initially constructed the new retail development with the intentions of being a landlord. After several meetings with Chris Wallace, President/CEO of the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber, to brainstorm the type of restaurant concepts lacking to better serve the Irving-Las Colinas dining market, the Godhia’s became convinced that Rodizio Grill would be wildly embraced, help to fill a void for a high-end steakhouse, and become a ‘destination-oriented’ restaurant.

Currently, there are only eleven Rodizio’s in the United States, located in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Minnesota, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee, Utah and Wisconsin, with an additional location opening soon in Massachusetts. The new Irving-Las Colinas’ Rodizio Grill will mark the Rodizio franchise’s thirteenth location, and the first in Texas. The opening date of the Irving-Las Colinas Rodizio Grill is planned for March 2013.
