With the arrival of flu season, Parkland Hospital is making it easy for residents to get vaccinated without an appointment.
Walk-in hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m Saturday Dec. 5 at Irving Health Center, 1800 N. Britain Road. Shots cost $20 for adults.
Children can qualify for no cost flu vaccines through the Texas Vaccines for Children Program.
Health experts recommend the shot for everyone over the age of six months.
Parkland also no-appointment vaccinations every Wednesday at any of its 12 area health centers.
