You will soon see bright yellow bikes along Campion Trails in Irving. The bikes are part of an agreement between the City of Irving and Garland-based VBikes.
Those interested in using one of the bikes can download the VBike app and sign up on their phone to pay $1 per hour or $14.95 per month for unlimited rides.
With the help of the app, a user will be able to see the duration of the trip, distance and calories burned after a ride.
According to the agreement reached, VBikes will operate their program on city property free of charge for a term of one year. The agreement has a one-year renewal option and can be terminated at any time.
