On May 16, 2023, people walking around Centennial Park saw what appeared to be a body floating in the middle of the creek and called 911.
The Irving Fire Department arrived on-scene and was able to pull the deceased body to shore.
According to Chelsey Jones from Irving Police, "there were no apparent signs of foul play, however, the Medical Examiner's Investigation is still pending."
