Fort Worth Police Make Arrests in Two Separate Homicides

Fort Worth Homicide Detectives along with U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force and Patrol Officers have made arrests in two separate homicides. 

On May 9, 2023, South Division officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of S. Frwy in reference to a shooting call.

Upon arrival officers located a male shooting victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment but he did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Detectives found that there was an altercation between the victim and multiple suspects when the suspects shot at the victim. The suspects then fled the scene in undescribed vehicles. 

19-year-old Jamaion Wilson was identified as a suspect and arrested.

In a separate case, on June 3, 2023, South Division officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of S. Frwy. in reference to a shooting call.

Upon arrival officers located a deceased male shooting victim with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body.

Officers have arrested 41-year-old Joe Lozano in that homicide case.
