Stolen Luxury Vehicles Recovered in Dallas; Suspect Arrested

In a recent incident, a Cadillac CTS-V, a ZL1 Chevrolet Camaro, and a Z06 Chevrolet Corvette were stolen from a local car dealership in Plano on Sunday, November 5, 2023, while the dealership was closed. The theft came to light the following day, Monday, November 6, 2023, when employees returned to work and discovered the missing vehicles. Subsequently, the employees contacted the Plano Police Department to report the theft.

Detectives from the Plano Police Department's Vehicle Crimes Unit received information that led them to believe the stolen vehicles were located at a property in the 900 block of Portnoma Lane in Dallas. Acting on this information, the detectives responded to the location and observed a collection of high-end performance vehicles on the property. They gained access to the property and successfully located the stolen Cadillac CTS-V and Chevrolet Camaro.

During their investigation at the scene, detectives uncovered six additional stolen vehicles, which included a Chevrolet SS stolen from Plano, a Cadillac CTS-V stolen from Tyler, an Infiniti QX80 stolen from McKinney, a Cadillac CTS-V stolen from Lewisville, a Dodge Challenger SRT8 stolen from Lewisville, and a Cadillac CT6 stolen from Tyler.

While detectives were on the scene, a suspect associated with the stolen vehicles arrived at the location, driving a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk taken from Dallas. The individual was subsequently arrested on charges related to the stolen vehicles. Further investigation revealed that all the stolen vehicles recovered by detectives had originally been taken from dealerships in their respective cities.
