Singley Academy Empowers Students for Success in Diverse Career Paths

School Choice Q&A: Samuel Robinson, Singley Academy

Singley Academy, a leading institution in career and technical education, is paving the way for students to excel beyond high school by offering a range of robust programs. From culinary arts and health sciences to technology and public law, Singley Academy provides specialized pathways tailored to individual interests.

One of the standout features of Singley Academy is its commitment to preparing students for real-world success. Accepted students not only delve into their chosen specialties but also have the unique opportunity to earn an associate’s degree concurrently with their high school education.

Samuel Robinson, an 11th-grade student at Singley Academy, shared his experience and insights in a recent Q&A session:

Full name: Samuel Robinson
Grade: 11th
Pathway: Culinary Arts

When asked about his decision to apply to Singley Academy, Samuel explained, "I wanted to have a jumpstart on my college experience, and I knew that Singley Academy would provide me with the opportunity to learn real-world skills."

Samuel's aspirations extend beyond high school, with plans to attend Georgia Tech and pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering. His dream career? Working for The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

For students considering applying to Singley Academy, Samuel offered the following advice: "Push yourself and work hard to the best of your abilities – don’t compare yourself to others. As long as you are giving it your all, you will be successful. Also, it is OK if you accept a pathway that wasn’t your first choice. The knowledge and skills you learn will be useful in whatever your future may hold. Remember to have fun!"

In a lighter note, Samuel shared a fun fact about himself, "I was born in Michigan and moved to Texas when I was 6. I also entered a mall singing competition when I was 7 and won! I sang 'Dynamite' by Taio Cruz."
