On Friday, November 17, 2023, at around 5:18 p.m., Duncanville police responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of Linkwood Dr. Preliminary information revealed that two unidentified suspects had shot a male victim.
Upon arrival, officers found the injured male and promptly administered first aid. The victim was then transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the two suspects approached the victim as he was entering his driveway. Subsequently, one of the suspects discharged a firearm, injuring the victim. According to witnesses, the suspects swiftly fled the area in a dark-colored Dodge Challenger.
Investigations suggest that the victim might have been followed after a recent visit to a local bank. Detectives are currently reviewing available surveillance footage to aid in identifying potential suspects.
