A jury has found Stacey Lee Jurik guilty of continuous sexual abuse of her 8-year-old daughter and has been sentenced to 32 years in prison.
39-year-old Stacey Lee Jurik of Wylie was arrested by Dallas Police Department in 2022 and charged with human trafficking involving a child.
The FBI discovered footage of the child during a much larger investigation of a photographer, Grant Durtschi of Lewisville, who is accused of taking sexually explicit photographs of children all over the country and selling them via social media. The FBI turned the evidence over to Dallas Police Department, who then investigated Jurik.
Reportedly, Jurik was present with her daughter during several photo shoots with Durtschi between October 2021 and February 2022. Court documents say footage from a photo shoot in January 2022 show Durtsch taking photographs of the child in "numerous poses that focus on displaying the buttocks and breasts" and Jurik is seen "adjusting the back strap of the clothing worn by the child". Dallas Police state that in February of 2022, Jurik and her daughter attended a photoshoot with Durtschi at a Dallas area studio that he rented.
Durtschi is also reported to have held photo shoots in Louisiana and Plano. 51-year-old Durtschi plead guilty to production and attempted production of child pornography on March 7, 2023.
