On January 18, 2024, at around morning hours, Frisco Police Department Officers were called to the scene of a motor vehicle crash in the 9800-block of Coit Road. The incident involved a northbound vehicle colliding with the rear of a stationary semi-trailer.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as McKenna Johnson from Frisco, was transported to a local hospital by the Frisco Fire Department. Unfortunately, Ms. Johnson succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the hospital.
The Frisco Police Department Traffic Unit is currently conducting an investigation into the crash. As of now, no criminal charges are anticipated to be filed in connection with the incident.
