Tri-County Auto Theft and the Mansfield Police Department responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in progress. Authorities successfully located the vehicle, and after attempting to elude officers, the suspect collided with a curb, rendering the vehicle inoperable. The offender was apprehended at the scene.
Further investigation revealed a connection between the apprehended individual and another person to a residential burglary, as well as a second stolen vehicle located in Arlington. Auto theft units from the Arlington Police Department also responded and provided assistance in addressing the stolen vehicle case from Arlington.
