A 25-year-old man is currently in custody after a fatal shooting in the 6700 block of Buenos Aires Dr. in North Richland Hills near Ruff Snow Dr.
The incident was reported to the North Richland Hills Police Communications Center at approximately 2:30 pm today. Responding officers arrived at the scene, apprehending the suspected shooter without delay.
The 25-year-old male victim did not survive the shooting. The North Richland Hills Police Department is conducting criminal investigations, and the crime scene will be under scrutiny for evidence processing.
The circumstances leading to the shooting are still under investigation, though authorities have assured that there is no immediate threat to the community.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will release the victim's name once the next of kin has been notified.
UPDATE: The shooting suspect has been identified as 25-year-old Michael J. Williams and has been charged with Murder.
