The Denton Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday night, resulting in the death of one individual.
At approximately 11:37 p.m., Denton Police and Fire received a call regarding an unconscious person near Denia Park at the intersection of Roselawn Drive and Bernard Street. The 911 caller reported an unresponsive male driver with a bullet hole in the vehicle's window.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered the victim, who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. The injured individual was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention, where he was pronounced dead. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office is yet to release the identity of the deceased victim.
