In the early hours of February 4, 2024, at approximately 1:30 AM, Dallas Police officers responded to a shooting incident in the 600 block of Reverchon Dr near W. Davis St in Oak Cliff.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a dispute between 21-year-old Kevin Estrada and 38-year-old Juan Carlos Villegas escalated, resulting in the suspect shooting the victim. Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene.
Emergency services transported Juan Carlos Villegas to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Officers were able to locate and apprehend the suspect, Kevin Estrada, who is now facing charges of Murder.
