On February 16, 2024, Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident in the 2400 block of Robert B. Cullum Boulevard in South Dallas around 8:55 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found two teenagers with gunshot wounds outside an apartment. A 16-year-old male was discovered in an apartment breezeway, while a 15-year-old female was found in a nearby apartment.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where the male succumbed to his injuries. The female was treated and later released. Due to their ages, the identities of the victims are being withheld.
Preliminary investigations suggest that this was an isolated incident, and there is currently no perceived threat to the public. At present, there is no description available for any suspects.
