A Consular Camp is set to take place in Irving, Texas, on Saturday, March 9, 2024, hosted at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. The event, organized by the Consulate General of India, Houston, in collaboration with BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Dallas, and other regional organizations, will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at 4601 N. State Highway 161 in Irving.
US passport holders of Indian origin seeking services such as OCI Card application, Emergency Visa, and Renunciation of Indian nationality are encouraged to bring their applications along with supporting documents for verification at the Consular Camp. Additionally, Indian passport holders applying for passport renewal, GEP, and PCC can also submit their applications for verification.
Officers from the Consulate General of India in Houston will be on-site to verify applications and supporting documents. After verification, applicants can proceed to send their applications to VFS, Houston. The Consular Camp will also offer miscellaneous services to Indian Passport holders, except for NORI and PCC. It's important to note that passport renewal, VISA, or OCI issuance will not be provided on the spot.
