Investigations revealed the car to be stolen. The pursuit extended into Arlington, where the suspect crashed near I-30 and Fielder and then fled on foot.
The chase led the suspect to seek refuge in an occupied residence located in the 1700 block of Northcrest Drive, and subsequently to a vacant home.
