On April 4, 2024, at around 7:05 p.m., Dallas Police were called to a shooting incident in the 9500 block of Royal Lane in Lake Highlands. Upon arrival, officers discovered Scypion Goodin, aged 45, outside an apartment with gunshot wounds. Despite the response of Dallas Fire Rescue, Goodin succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
At present, there is no available description of the suspect(s). Investigations are ongoing, with the case being documented under number 053186-2024.
