Dallas Police responded to a stabbing call early this morning in South Dallas, at approximately 12:55 a.m. The incident took place in the vicinity of 4300 S. Malcolm X Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man lying on the sidewalk outside a business. Despite efforts by Dallas Fire and Rescue, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the victim was stabbed by an unknown male suspect. As of now, there is no description available for the suspect. The identity of the deceased will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office.
