On Saturday, April 6, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Garland Officers rushed to an apartment complex located in the 4200 Block of Duck Creek Drive following reports of a weapons disturbance.
Upon arrival, the Garland Fire Department was on the scene and transported one victim to the hospital with minor injuries. Another involved party was transported by private auto.
Investigation revealed that a disturbance erupted in the parking lot of the location, leading to at least two individuals being shot. One person succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Garland Detectives are gathering evidence and the facts of the case to determine exactly what happened and identify the person(s) involved.
