Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident early this morning in South Dallas. At around 5:55 a.m., authorities were called to the scene at 4300 Colonial Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman who had been shot. Despite the efforts of Dallas Fire and Rescue, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been disclosed as authorities work to notify her next of kin. As of now, no information regarding the suspect has been made available.
