Arrest Warrants Issued for Kansas City Chief's Rashee Rice and Other Driver in Connection with North Central Expressway Crash

On April 10, 2024, Dallas Police have issued arrest warrants for two individuals in connection with a serious crash that occurred on North Central Expressway on March 30, 2024. The suspects have been identified as 23-year-old Rashee Rice and 21-year-old Theodore Knox.  Rice is the wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs.  He grew up in North Richland Hills and attended Richland High School, then SMU.  

According to the investigation, the incident involved two drivers, Knox who was driving a Corvette, and Rice who was driving a Lamborghini. Both drivers were reportedly speeding in the far-left lane of North Central Expressway, near University Boulevard, leading to a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles.

The arrest warrants specify the charges against Rice and Knox. Rashee Rice faces one count of Aggravated Assault, one count of Collision Involving Serious Bodily Injury, and six counts of Collision Involving Injury. Similarly, Theodore Knox faces one count of Aggravated Assault, one count of Collision Involving Serious Bodily Injury, and six counts of Collision Involving Injury.

It's important to note that the passengers in the vehicles will not be charged in relation to the incident. As of now, Rice and Knox are not in custody.

UPDATE: On April 11, 2024, Rashee Rice, 23, turned himself into Glenn Heights Police, processed at the Regional Jail in Desoto. 

On April 12, 2024, Theodore Knox, 21, turned himself into Glenn Heights Police, being processed at the Regional Jail in Desoto.
