Non-profit organizations and municipalities in Collin County can now vie for a portion of Parks & Open Space funds, courtesy of the 2023 Collin County Bond Program. This funding opportunity encompasses various projects like land acquisition, trails, and park enhancements.
Interested parties can access applications via the County website or by reaching out to the Collin County Engineering Department at openspace@collincountytx.gov. The deadline for submissions is Monday, July 8, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. Central Time.
A review process, conducted by the Parks Foundation Advisory Board, will take place between July and September. Their funding recommendations will then be presented to the Collin County Commissioners Court in October 2024.
