Irving Police Identify New Suspect in Murder Case; Brothers Believed to Have Fled to Honduras

Irving Police investigators have identified another suspect in the murder case of 24-year-old Abel Alvarado-Martinez. Alvarado-Martinez was found in the driveway of a residence on the 200 block of Ouida St, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on-site by Irving Fire Department medics.

A warrant has been issued for Franklin Amador, 18 years of age. These two suspects are brothers and believed to still be together. With the vehicle previously identified, recovered in San Antonio shortly after the murder, investigators believe the two have fled to Honduras.

The Irving Police Departments requests that anyone with information on the suspects' whereabouts to contact their local police department immediately. The investigation is ongoing.
