Irving's Advanced Plan for Health Names Executive Team

Advanced Plan for Health announced that it has named Rich Williams as president and COO and  Neil Godbey as chairman/CEO.  Mr. Williams and Mr. Godbey also have been named to the company's board of directors, along with Omar Rodriguez, who also serves the company as an Executive Vice-President.

Advanced Plan for Health helps hospitals, corporations and other organizations manage the health of more than 270,000 employees and dependants through a fully integrated, Web-based system that combines health information analysis with the knowledge and training to design and implement initiatives that control the variability of health care costs. 

President, COO and Director Rich Williams has an extensive career in health care, including former positions as CEO of a regional health care system, executive vice president of a 27-hospital/10 long-term care health system, chief operating officer of a 25-hospital system with 25,000 employees, as well as strategic consulting experience. Mr. Williams is the author of the first healthcare-focused sales training programs used by the American Hospital Association. He received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany, a Masters of Health Administration from SUNY Stony Brook and an M.B.A. from DePaul in Chicago.

Neil Godbey, named Chairman and a Director of Advanced Plan for Health, also is president of The Godbey Group, which provides managed care contracting, for providers, reimbursement strategies and mergers and acquisitions design. The Godbey Group achieves significantly higher increases in payor reimbursement Vs the nation average due to the unique combination of experienced negotiators  and a proprietary database. TGG has 200 hospital clients in 35 states. Prior to founding  The Godbey Group  in 1988, Mr. Godbey served as a senior executive with several premier health care organizations, including as CEO of a national health care consulting firm, CEO of one of the largest independent practice associations in the nation with 7,000 physician providers and senior officer of a regional health system. Mr. Godbey received his B. S. degree from the University of Toledo and his M.B.A. from Rockhurst School of Management.

Omar Rodriguez also was named a Director and Executive Vice-president of Advanced Plan for Health. Since 2007, Mr. Rodriguez has served as principal of Advanced Plan for Health, where his responsibilities include oversight of national business development of the company's specialized health care data management and consultative services to claims payers, large self-funded employers, hospitals, governmental entities, on-site clinic companies and consultants. Previously, Mr. Rodriguez served as president and COO t of one the nation's largest non-carrier health benefit administrator.  Mr. Rodriguez received his B. A. from Central Washington University.
