Defendant: Richard Pasillas

TARRANT COUNTY, TX — A jury has found 56-year-old Richard Pasillas guilty of continuous violence against the family, and a court has sentenced him to 30 years in prison, the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office announced.

The incident occurred on March 14, 2023, when Pasillas struck a relative in the mouth during an argument outside a gas station. White Settlement Police responded to the scene, assisted by Fort Worth Police officers, and took Pasillas into custody.

The court noted that Pasillas is a habitual offender with a history of family violence, including prior convictions for injury to a child and failure to stop and render aid.
