MacArthur's Tamiye Burlingame Qualifies for National Gymnastic Meet
MacArthur's Tamiye Burlingame has been selected to represent Texas at the Senior All-Star High School Gymnastics Championships. The event will be held May 17th - 19th in Fort Myers, Florida.
Tamiye, along with 11 other gymnasts from throughout Texas will be competing against 14 other states during this competition.
The following quote was posted on MacArthur's website, "She has worked so hard over the past 4 years and this is an honor for her to be on this very select team of talented gymnasts."
Tamiye represented MacArthur earlier this month at the 2012 State Championships held in San Angelo, Texas. MacArthur placed 22nd as a team.
