DALLAS, Texas - A Dallas County jury has sentenced a 22-year-old man to prison for his role in a violent armed robbery at an illegal game room that ended with one suspect being fatally shot by police and multiple others arrested.
On July 31, 2026, a jury found Dominique Trayvon LeeBolin guilty of two counts of aggravated robbery. Jurors sentenced him to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and returned an affirmative deadly weapon finding.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Zachery Brown and Heather Ragsdale, with assistance from District Attorney investigators Zachary Johnston and Brian Flannery, and paralegal Madelein Garcia. The Dallas Police Department investigated the case.
According to prosecutors, the robbery occurred on July 4, 2024, at an illegal game room near the intersection of Lancaster and Kiest roads in southern Dallas.
Investigators said LeeBolin and three co-defendants arrived at the business in a stolen vehicle wearing masks, gloves and dark clothing. All four suspects were armed with firearms.
Once inside, the group ordered customers to the floor at gunpoint while robbing them of purses, wallets and other personal belongings.
Prosecutors said the suspects also forced an employee to open multiple gambling machines so they could steal the cash inside.
As the robbery continued, the gunmen ordered additional people from the parking lot into the business at gunpoint to keep everyone together while the robbery was underway.
Despite the suspects' efforts, several victims were able to keep their cell phones and secretly call 911.
Dallas police officers quickly responded to the scene.
According to prosecutors, one suspect fled by jumping a fence behind the business. During the pursuit, that suspect allegedly pointed a firearm at a police officer before being shot and killed by responding officers.
Two additional suspects also fled over the fence. One was apprehended shortly afterward, while the other was identified and arrested during the subsequent investigation.
LeeBolin was arrested near the main entrance of the game room.
In addition to the aggravated robbery conviction, LeeBolin remains charged in a separate Dallas County capital murder case.
According to court records, he is accused of participating in the April 13, 2024, killing of 20-year-old Mavion Raynard Goldman, also known as "MAV," during an attempted robbery.
That capital murder case remains pending.
