Arlington Man Sentenced to 35 Years for Producing Child Sexual Abuse Material Involving 10-Year-Old
Badshah Sahi

FORT WORTH, Texas - An Arlington man who federal prosecutors say sexually assaulted minors in Texas and coerced a 10-year-old girl he met through Roblox into creating sexually explicit videos has been sentenced to 35 years in federal prison.

Badshah Sahi, 21, an Afghan national who lived in Arlington, was sentenced Sept. 29 after previously pleading guilty to production and possession of child pornography.

U.S. Senior District Judge Terry R. Means imposed a 420-month federal sentence that will run consecutively to Sahi's outstanding state proceedings.

The federal investigation followed Sahi's Feb. 28, 2025, arrest by Forney police on a state charge of sexual assault of a child.

According to court documents, investigators determined Sahi had been communicating with a 14-year-old girl while living in Arlington. Prosecutors said he would pick her up outside her Forney home, drive her to other locations and sexually assault her.

A search of Sahi's phone following his arrest uncovered numerous images and videos involving a prepubescent girl along with communications with other minors, according to federal prosecutors.

Investigators said Sahi also used the online gaming platform Roblox to communicate with a child in Indiana. Prosecutors said Sahi coerced the girl into producing and sending sexually explicit videos at his direction.

The child was 10 years old, and investigators said Sahi learned her age during their communications.

Forensic evidence uncovered another case involving a 15-year-old girl in San Marcos. According to court records, Sahi communicated with the teenager online before driving to her location and recording himself sexually assaulting her.

Sahi pleaded guilty April 1 to production and possession of child pornography.

Homeland Security Investigations Dallas investigated the federal case with assistance from the Arlington and Forney police departments, Green County Sheriff's Office and Hays County Sheriff's Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Allyson Monte prosecuted the case.

Sahi's 35-year federal prison term was ordered to run consecutively to his pending state proceedings, meaning the federal sentence will not run at the same time as any sentence resulting from those cases.
