Irving Vice Unit Busts Prostitution Operation at N Belt Line Road Apartment, Two Arrested and Placed on ICE Holds
IRVING, Texas — An undercover prostitution investigation led Irving police to raid a North Irving apartment, where officers arrested a 49-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman accused of participating in a paid sexual encounter.
The Irving Police Department Vice Unit executed a search warrant Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at an apartment in the 3800 block of North Belt Line Road, near West Northgate Drive.
The search was part of an ongoing prostitution investigation conducted by an undercover officer assigned to the Vice Unit.
When officers entered the apartment, they found two individuals identified as Emerenciano Martinez, 49, and Mayerlin Rojas-Ramos, 43.
According to Irving police, Rojas-Ramos admitted to investigators that Martinez had paid her $120 in exchange for sex during an encounter lasting approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Investigators determined that the apartment was being used exclusively to conduct prostitution services.
Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Irving Jail.
Rojas-Ramos was charged with prostitution, while Martinez was charged with solicitation of prostitution.
Both Suspects Placed on Immigration Holds
Following their arrests, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed immigration detainers on both suspects, who were identified in the arrest information as being in the United States illegally.
Martinez was subsequently transferred to the Dallas County Jail, where he remains in custody.
His bond was set at $30,000, but he is not eligible for release from custody because of the immigration hold.
Rojas-Ramos was also transferred to the Dallas County Jail following her arrest. She has since been transferred into ICE custody.
