39 Irving ISD Soccer Players Named to All-District Teams

Irving ISD was represented by 39 players on All-District soccer teams. MacArthur High School sophomore Delaney Castro was named Goalkeeper of the Year for District 9-6A girl’s soccer. In boys’ action, Gerber Chavez of Irving High School was named the District 9-6A MVP. His teammate Roberto Andrade was named Defensive MVP, while Alex Egeonu of Nimitz and Abraham Lazo of MacArthur earned Offensive MVP honors. Christian Aguilar of MacArthur and Jefersson Giron of Nimitz were named Newcomers of the Year and George Loma received Midfielder of the Year honors.
