Motoike & Santoscoy lead wolves into regional championship

Ranchview's swimming and diving team produced six qualifiers for the Regional Championship as the Wolves battled at the District 14 Championship held over the weekend at the CFB natatorium.  Freshman Kazuomi Motoike was the lone male qualifier, placing 6th in the 500 Free, while junior Shelby Santoscoy also qualified in the 500 Free. 

 

Santoscoy joins Nicole Watson, Madison Worrell, Sarah Rovi and Lauren Naylor on the 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays which also qualified.. Overall, Ranchview's girls placed 5th, while the boys were 6th. For his performance at the District Championship, Kazuomi Motoike is named the team's 10th "Athlete of the Week".. WAY TO GO!!!
