Angela Lee Montoya, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on December 19, 1980, in Indianapolis, Angela grew up in Irving, Texas, where she developed her kind, loving spirit that would touch the lives of many around her.
Angela attended Macarthur High School, where she nurtured her passions and formed lasting friendships. Throughout her life, she exemplified a big-hearted personality, always prioritizing her children and family above all else. Her dedication to her daughters, Arianna, Exive, Anissa, and Alicia, demonstrated the depth of her love and commitment as a mother. She also found joy in her role as a grandmother to Neveah, Nyjah, Darlene, Nemesio, Cain, Jaelene, and Jaelani, embracing these bonds with warmth and affection.
Angela is survived by her loving parents, Jose F. Montoya and Rethal Smith, as well as her stepmother, Maritza Montoya. She also leaves behind her brothers, Frankie, Michael, and Gian Lucca. Her sister Emelly, and many cherished cousins, aunts, and uncles who will remember her for her caring and spirited nature.
Angela's legacy will continue through the lives of those she influenced with her kindness and unwavering love. A graveside service to honor her life will be held on September 25, 2025, at Mountain Creek Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas, starting at 10:30 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Angela's life and the profound impact she had on those who were fortunate enough to know her.
